bumper trade?

I have a good 56 Ford rear bumper to trade for a good front for 49-51 Ford. Just thought I would put it out in hopes that someone might have one.

'51 Ford bumper and brackets are way different than '49/50.
What are you working on?

Its a51 Ford coupe and its going to be a custom so I will make any decent looking bumper fit.  I may not even use a Ford bumper, its whatever fits and looks cool.

'49 Plymouth bumpers look good on those Fords.

Thanks for the info jarvis1. We have a scrap yard close by and I plan to check it out as soon as the mosquitoes are gone in the fall. Hope to find something there.

If you do find '49 Plymouth bumpers, the front one goes on the back of the '51.
And the back goes on the front of the '51.
But...I think one of them may have to be narrowed a bit.
(it's been a while...)

'49 or '50 Ford bumpers are clean looking.

If you find them, get the brackets too.

One more thing. If you find a '49 Chev front license frame grab it. Really hard to find but nice looking.
