anything you want/need just type it into your google search box

hell I googled my bicycle on a lark 4 weeks ago

up popped a few of them including one absolutely mint one for 125 bucks

so I went and scooped it - was a 635 dollar bicycle new and it still is "new", 19 years later

finding old mags is easy now if you know exactly what you're lookin for

There is an article in that issue about forming metal over a buck. I was able to follow the buck building portion on-line in the September issue but not the October issue. If you find that you have it, could you please scan the article and e-mail it to me? jlangford@nexicom.net I am going to build my first buck and since the article is about forming metal for a Track T, it would be ideal. Thank you

I'm not aware of any buck that is capable of forming metal over. They are usually used to check progress of fabricated parts. Send me a copy of that article if you find it please.

Hello again 123Pugsy. If you go to the red highlighted portion on the page that pops up, you'll see it allows you to view all 31 photos. At the bottom of each photo is a description of what the photo shows. In the last or penultimate photo description, it said the next month's issue (of Steet Rodder) will show how to add the metal.
And for DJD, I tried twice to purchase the magazine on Amazon.com, once before you brought it to my attention and once after. But Amazon.ca doesn't have it available and Amazon.com won't accept my password (who knows why). So when I try to change my password, I go through all the hoops and it still won't change. Long and short, I can't buy the magazine. But I'm still trying to change my password to access my account so I can buy it, unless someone here discovers they have that issue.
I am determined to build a buck once it is warm enough in the garage. Until then, I am taking the opportunity to learn as much as I can. I got a log to carve out and I still have to find an old bat. One step at a time. Come Spring, I'll be ready to attempt a track T nose.

I've thrown away three boxes of magazines in the last month. Street rodder is one I always buy. Poor timing huh??

I hear that
I had to toss something like twenty storage totes full of car mags
two foot high stacks in each tote make a forty odd foot stack of car mags

tossed em in the back of my truck and took them to the recycling pile at the transfer stn
they were a LOT harder to rake out of the truck than you would think
and my 6 1/2 foot box was full to the brim

frustrates me too

I have 3 boxes in my attic, mostly 1970s-80s (Hot Rod, CC, PHR etc).......Sold all my 50s-60s ones on eBay in they 90s. Made good money back then, but they don't seem to sell now. The shipping costs are what kills it....

Going in the recycling this year unless someone wants them...and will come get them.

That said..... www.ebay.ca/sch/i.html

Thank you 123Pugsy for all your help and Lightspeed for forwarding the magazine article. Now the hard/fun part begins.
