My friend bought one brand new, we went for a test drive in a 1986 Z/28 and he almost bought it, then we decided to go across town to the Chrysler dealership for a laugh at this little Omni, took it out for a spin,we were both shocked at the power,took it back to the dealership and he bought it on the spot.Could even out run the 5.0 Mustang.

Sweet car I sold Chrysler from Oct 83 to Mar 90 . we had one in stock . it was awesome . My first demo was a black base Omni 2.2 auto . It was a fast little car for me . I got pulled over by OPP at outrageous speed on way home . The 2.2 Turbo was a hoot .
