i have a new project that I may need a frame for , it’s a sectioned 1939’Ford pickup that has a spot or two. still fixable but if someone had a frame, I could do up the chassis before dismantling the actual truck.
Chris
My buddy who helped me build the Bantam has a 38 panel. He just built a new frame for it based on specs he found on line. His is a 3/4 ton and the specs he realized too late are for a 1/2 ton and they are different enough that the front suspension wouldn't work. A slight modification is necessary. Just thought I'd mention that. I never paid much attention to these before, but they sure have grown on me. This will be an awesome truck when finished and something you don't see a lot of.

Just throwing this out there. If Chris found something suitable out west, I am taking my enclosed hauler to Calgary in July. I would gladly bring back a frame. I am driving Dog Spit from Calgary to Victoria and back. Maybe somebody has a trailer going from the island to the Calgary area.
When you get to Victoria, let me know. I will take you to this place that has hundreds of flathead Ford engines and stuff.
There's a couple of '36 Ford bodies there now.
I will drop down to Victoria and pick you up.
That sounds awesome. The fellow I am travelling with is fanatical flathead. He has an extensive collection of rare flathead parts and builds motors. He will be blown away with anything flathead. PM me your phone number and I will program it.
Thanks Warren,
Really appreciate the offer but by then if I haven’t found something useable local
I’ll probably just fix what I have at that time.
Chris

I was over at my friends place today. He has at least 6 frames.
Mostly car frames. The difference being a large lump bracket for the car body.
Remove that and the frame is the same for car or truck.
