Cuddles, I gotta admit this is the first time I've seen something like this posted here. I'm not a collector but can appreciate the work gone into it.........but......I'm guessing everybody wants to say something and doesn't want to be the first, so, here goes - and I mean this in the most masculine sense possible - " nice weapon ya got there Cuddles"....
Thank you Iwannagofast (nice name). I'm just enjoying learning to work with metal. I really enjoyed carpentry but working with metal is a real blast. I really hope to improve my welding skills. You can make almost anything! As a kid I learned to appreciate the art work of Frank Frazetta (check out Molly Hatchet LP covers). He drew for Disney at one time and I'd compare his work with lighting and shading to Carravagio. Anyway, he painted a figure called 'The Death Dealer' and his design of the axe inspired me. I used to see a lot of artists doing Frazetta paintings on the side of vans and bikes in the 1970s. It was fun making the axe but I'm just trying to make a little cash to buy car parts any way I can. I'm almost to the point where I'm thinking of selling stuff in my wife's closet when she isn't home. hahaha
