Anyone use a donut wheel? I'm talking about the skinny steel spare wheel only put a real tire on it. Off a gm midsize car (cutlass, monte, Camaro, etc.)I'm thinking they'd be much cheaper than ordering from wheel vintiques or someone like that.
Off topic a bit but mustangs from 86 ish to mid 90 ish came with aluminum mini spares . I seem to recall guys using the 5 bolt ones and redrilling to small gm pattern . Gives a zero offset 15 x 4 inch rim and very light . But they used them on strip cars

Not totally off topic. Its pretty much what I'm planning on doing.
I'm just looking for a set with a 5×4.75 pattern(mid size gm car). 15"or 16". Not sure what cars had them though!

I have de-mounted many of the donut tires . I saved them for farm implements like side rakes etc . but never put a tire on them .
I think 14x6 5-4:75 and 15x6 from G bodies as suggested and S10 trucks
