I have one around here somewhere, not sure if it is one of those models. I could never get it to be accurate. If memory serves, they take a special 1.3 volt mercury battery. I used a 1.5 AA I think. I will have a look for it on the weekend.
I went out and found it. Here is what I have,....transmitter, a Sun tach in the original box, intructions etc. The tach only goes to 5000, so I think it's probably for a boat motor. Not sure. I still have the old Mercury battery.
Like I said, I never could get it to be real accurate. I haven't had it in a car in 25 years. I don't know if it even will work now.
