Yesterday I had the dis pleasure of having to have a short conversation with an older hot rodder who is one of those guys who thinksa 32 , Duece is the end all be all of rodding
I made the mistake of mentioning to a group of hot rod guys ( 3 I knew , 2 I didnt ) that I still had my gasser chassis for sale , be known that I havent really tried to sell it as I,ve had it for around 34 years .
So Senior Rodder , as soon as he hears old hot rod for sale , starts going on about is it a 32 ??. Do you know how to tell a 32 ?? . What body is on it .
First , I SAID , CHASSIS for sale , not a complete car , never did I say anything about it being a 32 . And then finally after watching the video he says Thats Not a 32 chassis . Since mentioning to a few guys I might want to sell the chassis . I,ve ran into I think I,ve ran into maybe 4 of these guys so far .
Is this just happening to me ?? Do you other guys run into these 32 , Duece obssesed guys

I am a little biased when I say I like 29s & some might hate me for saying it but I can't think of any hot rods of any (older) year I don't like. I am learning to see all the skill & time & patience that went into them. And when I go to shows I pay attention to the knuckles, not just the ride. Bruised knuckles impress me a lot more now. Some guys are just talk but the real rodders (like here) know of what they speak. Sad to say I've already met both but most I've met impress me greatly. What a great hobby.
