Don't think its as easy as switching doors, and don't think all cars are wired for that. every vehicle built has a build sheet that states what options it has, and wiring harnesses are used for that particular option
Nice try though

If brains were wire, some couldn't short circuit a firefly.
I would take the PW harness out of the 1980 doors and trace the wires back to the fuse box. Power windows take a lot of juice and may have a separate circuit breaker. It may have a different fuse box or the space for the circuit breaker might be empty.
it might be as simple as swamping in the door harness' and adding the circuit breaker to your existing fuse box ..in the slot already provided
door harness might be a simple plug in conversion
worthy of an exploration..
Years ago I installed Pwr. windows in 64 Catalina 2+2 I had, bought a Used set & complete P/W wiring harness. It wasn't a couple of hours job, more like 3 days but that was 4 windows?? Knocking out the plugs in doors and pillars for wiring was a pain as well as installing the boots there too. It can be done just take your time but best to have that wiring harness before you start!!!!

what you really need.. is to find the factory GM service manuals that cover body wiring... then you can look up not only the actual wiring diagrams but also the diagrams depicting the wire routing through out the body of the car in short order you should then find out just how the power window wiring is added to the car .. and from where it starts or what it plugs into
something that covers a similar year cameno , malibu or monte carlo should do fine.. all the same cars.. kinda
there are no better answers than the ones found in factory service manuals.. haynes and chiltons.. just don't cut it
whenever I get into a new type of vehicle .. I scrounge the factory manuals...
edit.. on second thought.. the wiring diagrams and wire routing diagrams might be.. in different service manual volumes.. works that way with the 80's dodge books.. and the GM ones came from the same publisher..or distributor..
so you might be looking for the body service manual as well as the wiring diagrams book..

sometimes they're sneeky
in the 80's dodge front wheel drive cars I've had sooo many of.. there's a connector at each end of the dash.. the rear body and door harness plug in there
BUT
in those cars .. there is only ONE DOOR harness
sure it plugs in at each end of the dash .. sure... but.. BIG BUT
the door harness starts at the back end of one door.. goes through the door jambs at the front.. plugs in , THEN runs up and across under the bottom of the windshield .. just under the frontmost edge of the dash .. all the way to the other side... where it plugs into the dash again at the opposite side...then it goes through the door jambs of the other door and in through to the back corner of the other door...
it would be a real pain in the butt if you didn't already know all that's needed is to unbolt the front edge of the dash .. loosen the bottom corner bolts and tilt it back towards you .. then swappin the harness is an afternoon's job .. easy as pie..
oh and heads up .. both the manual and power window regulator mechanisms are probably pop riveted in .. a punch for knocking out the steel center pin and a drill are all you should need
