I found a MG midget on flopbook too for 3000

add says needs headgasket and battery...comes with new water pump..

so we know why it needs a headgasket .. maybe the motor is ok..

then I find another and another for 5 and 7 thousand..

so thinkin ..can't make anything off that either..

which really might be a good thing as there's still "affordable" projects to be had out there..ones you only buy if "you're into 'em"

pick the right car and there's LOTS to be had

a buddy bought a 71 challenger convertible a few years back ..
it was solid complete driveable
...and brown
bought for 10 000 ..painted it purple,.. sold it ten months later for 35 000
so yeah there's money to be had..as long as you don't lasso a boat anchor
