For those still trying to compile a good set of tools, Canadian Tire is selling an 86 piece tap & die set for half price.  I'd much rather buy precious parts but I couldn't resist. Regular $200 for $100.  Damn this hobby can be so frustrating at times.  Still, we need good tools to do a good job.  The Princess Auto set for the same price has less components.  Time to start saving for my next part again.
