I was at Standard auto wreckers in Scarborough and they have a new section for the "oldies". Looks like they are getting a lot of half finished projects lately. This Cougar convertible looked pretty sad, it was originally a 4spd car and there was a 390 rocker cover in the trunk. Ironically, the floor and cowl were in better shape than some of the projects I've taken on. The whole grille was still there with the headlamp doors as well. Somebody somewhere is probably going crazy looking for that kind of thing!
I was able to scoop some rear seatbelts and there were actually a bunch of carbureted cars. At $20.00 for a set of clean belts, I can't complain about the price either!
