Well, for the third night in a row I'm not getting any sleep. My wife asks me why and I reply (like a fool) honestly and I tell her it's the rod. I go to bed at 9:30 and get up shortly after 12 and start cruising the net for prices on car parts. I'm up all night looking at parts. So she said we have to sell the rod. I finally agreed but - and here's the good part - I got her to agree that we'll sell the rod as soon as it is finished and as all here know - they're never finished ! Hooray !
Aw, just feeling silly because I'm so tired I guess. Thought it might raise a chuckle. I'll never let go of this ride. Besides, still so much to do to it.
The deal you made with your wife is OK. You are right about the "never finished" part. I just sold my ride to my grandson. That was a work in progress since 1976 so you made a good deal. My grandson is discovering that the car is a "work in progress" to meet his specifications so in 45 years we will see if he is done.
