ok, what do you mean by a pulse switch, i'm confused maybe. lol i am thinking of a delay switch with a couple of different interval settings maybe. when i changed my 50 ford truck over to electric wipers from vacuum, i didn't think about a delay switch. i was just glad to have wipers when i put my foot on the gas pedal, not much vacuum in a 5lt engine till you lift your foot up. i will be surprised if you can buy one, pulse, in a 50 conversion kit. there are some guys here who will know better but i think all the delay stuff is in the switch and you probably have a good shot at getting one for something newer and putting the old knob on it, sorta thing.
Like intermittent , like most modern cars have . I figger I,ll just buy a electric kit . Then adapt a stand alone intermittent into it .
I used to be , well , still into AMC,s and their system for a dash mounted rotary knob with pulse was usually the rotary switch had off and turn to right for speeds , but you turned it to left for the intermittent speeds and it had a wired in box to control those speeds
I,ll just buy a kit then wire my own switch and controller into the system
I still have a bunch of those switches and controllers left I was just trying to be lazy ha ha

I'm pretty sure the 'pulse/intermittent' speeds are controlled by the switch. I think I have a switch from an old Camero that had that dash switch, not column. Think it had the pull out and there was a wee twisty/turnie thing to delay.
I'm sure it's in the bottom of a Tool cabinet so I'll have the part number too !
Also, as far as I understand ALL 6 volt systems are positive ground. Think there was one odd ball back in the 50/60's but I forget what it was.
I'll have look about for that in-dash switch I used.
That's odd. It was exactly where I thought it was, with a foot kicker dimmer switch for the Javelin I forget I had, and my tach/dwell meter I've been hunting for !!
Anyway, it's a GM part# 14001502. Was for my 1979 camero, but fit the old El camino slot and a few others such as the Chevelles.
