Without a doubt, that was the most boring NASCAR race I have ever seen. It was like watching the kids train go round the layout all afternoon. I was of the impression that they wanted to get rid of these drafting trains at the restrictor plate events. Just didn't work. Harrison Burton provided what entertainment there was, just glad he came out OK. I think even the announcers ran out of things to say. Not so sure about Tony Stewart, love the man, but needs some tuning up at announcing. But what do I know, look where I am sitting. Speaking of which, I was wondering how everybody picks their team. I try to find a different routine each year, this year was picking all from the Chevy camp, guess I should have chosen Ford. Couldn't get 8 drivers from Toyota. At least our participation is increasing.

A race broke out after 12 to 15 commercial's every 5 minutes!!! Next Gen cars are going to need "tweaking" & re enforcement in rear ends, the least little "tap" and control arms gone,Wheels not very strong either, and over do the take off from pits & transaxle grenade's it's self!! Finish was close with BUBBA just a little short!!!!!

Agreed kinda reminded me of that 2car draft thing a few years ago.
Supposedly they were trying to figure out the new car, what was new,by the way.
NASCAR better get on that quick or there could be attendance issues. I wonder if
there is a way they find out if those at home watch the whole race or get board
after the the first 50 laps and come back for the last 50. Thats pretty much how I watched
this one, I bet sponsors would be
very interested in that stat. Maybe some of the short tracks or road courses will be
more interesting. Ed

That was the other thing. This next gen car is a POS. 18" wheels they cannot get out of the wheel well, feeding fuel with an eye dropper, suspension components that should be on a go cart, wrong body shape, we'll see a few take flight this year, they are just a big wing on wheels. Bill France will be sorry for this one.

Long boring race packed with to many commercials but at least no 4 hour rain delays this year. Couple of one car teams made pretty good showings. Perhaps the new cars will allow them to be competitive and sneak out a few wins. Brad K was a one man wrecking crew

I guess this result is to be expected when it seemed to be every time
there was a spin it was one of my picks. The topper being 2 of my picks
actually taking each other out in the final laps. Oh well onward and upward
