Just had a pair of piecrust cheater slicks made at Towel City. Damn, with shipping and taxes there are stupidly priced. Had to have them though!

It only hurts for a little while.
I had some chrome work done recently.
Not cheap, but had to have it done.

Radir in Pennsylvania makes reproduction 12" wide pie crusts, from the original MT molds, and a pair delivered to my door a few years ago was only 1k

I thought they were well worth the money

In '69,'70 and '71 while in high school. I ran pie crust slicks on my Falcon daily driver. They had a few cuts in them for treads but the bare minimum.  Made by a company called NEWBY I think they were north of  London. They had a tire shop on Wharncliffe Road. They tires looked cool but the rubber on them wasn't very sticky.

It did hurt for a day or two.... Then I had to order headers and steering column. So the tire cost was soon forgotten.
Now on the car. Had to drop the rear a tad. But that only took a minute or two.
