A friend asked me the other day where he could get a good quality cover for a truck he just bought. I said there are lots of sites but he is looking for something in Canada and i didn't know, it's been awhile since i have bought one.   The truck is a full size 70 chev long box and any pointers in the right direction would be appreciated, thanks.

I got one from here. CAD dollars, free shipping, and no HST.

It's a little stiff but works OK, with not much rain getting thru.

thanks pugsy, he went for this place and their hi-end cover.  actually the price seemed reasonable if it is as good as they promote it to be.

HI again.

We are sorry for the confusion. We have checked again and the cover has no warranty.
Please ignore the previous email as it was our mistake.
Still, we would like to assist you with the cover since it was just purchased in May and the cover seems defective as it didn't last long.
This is actually very rare and we have raised this to our case manager to request for a free replacement cover for one time courtesy only.
Here is the correct link to pay for the shipping cost since the cover will be shipped from the US to Canada, we do not cover the shipping cost, just the free cover only.

Rick
If he has hasn't already made a commitment, tell him to check out this company. huggercovers.com They made a cover for Dog Spit and it is beautiful. No Chinese junk or importing from anywhere. Made right here in Bolton. They measured my car and even made a pocket to accommodate the blower when it was on. You get what you pay for.

yea you are right warren and especially in today's economic predicament, you usually get what you pay for.  it was too late when i got back to my bud about the cover as he had already put his order in and it was on it's way.

Is he using it inside or outside?
If inside, it will be fine.

Thanks Warren.

Got them bookmarked. Probably need to order one next year.

These idiots wouldn't refund my money, but they are sending me a "free" cover with no shipping cost, like they're doing me a favour.

I'll be back in two months with the next report.
