The Hogtown Metalshaping Meet will be held at my work place on the second last weekend of October this year. No experience necessary and is encouraged.
I will bring all my shaping equipment from home but we could always use more shaping stuff such as e-wheels, mallets, bags, stumps, etc.
I have manual shrinkers and stretchers and we have enough TIG welders so we're OK there.
BBQ lunch will be served both days. Doors open at 8:00 AM and run until everyone's burned out.
The meet will be held in the Markham Road/Finch Avenue area in Scarborough. (Toronto)
We have plenty of space for your projects, doors, hoods, fenders etc, so bring them along.
If you wish to attend please reply to this thread or send me a text if you have my number, so I have an idea of how many are coming.
To go along with what Paul was saying IMO the people on this site are very fortunate to be invited to this. I wish this was closer to me I would be a regular at it. I live in a small town with one stop light and steer clear of GTA as much as possible. Good on you for doing this Jari .
Jari, I am going to be there, I am just confirming with Nick to see if he's going to join me again.
He hunts though so that may be about the same time possibly?
