I noticed that whenever I watch people working around cars (theirs or mine) with a multi-meter, someone always has to hold the device while someone else works with the device or we get to see it being awkwardly used with the two cables precariously dangling near moving parts. It looked to me like a bit of a hazard, especially when working alone. So today I made a small mount for the multi-meter, handy whether working alone or with someone. I hope someone likes the idea and makes one for themselves. I am sure it will help me with rewiring my ride.
I
It just slips over the rad shroud / firewall brace. Easy on and off with a rubber band to hold the unit to the mount. No sharp edges and it was just scrap metal from an old bar-b-que. Good luck !
Thanks guys. It was fun to make and only took a couple of hours. Well worth my time I think. Now I can stop worrying about melting the leads on my headers or getting them caught in the fan belt.
