I don't know if any of you are familiar with Rodtoberfest held annually in Round Top NY, but with the political climate today, I would like to see a similar event held here in Ontario.  Here are a couple of links that feature Rodtoberfest.

If there was sufficient interest, I would like to find a venue that could be licensed and insured for such an event.  I basically want to follow the same structure and rules as that of Rodtoberfest.  Open to pre 54 vehicles and bikes.  No modern engines ie sbf or sbc.  If you possess a vehicle like this or have friends and acquaintances who do and are interested in such an event, please post a reply.  I think we would need at least 50 vehicles to make this viable.  A sanctioned drag strip such as St. Thomas or Shannonville would be the ideal location, not using the paved strip but rather a dirt 300' dirt track located on the property.  If anyone knows of any other field or beach where this could be held, please speak up.

Warren

What do you have to do to make these links viable?

Abandoned air strip or rail line may be options better suited... I doubt permits on a beach would be entertained by any municipality, due to contamination possibilities.

It would be nice to have grass roots racing though where the average Joe can compete.....( If he can acquire vintage equipment).

They don't advertise anything going on ...that's why I suggested getting in touch with Lisa from BAFM. ( Barrie/Bonfield Fleamarket) In another post.
Everything is already there even licenced bar and on site camping approx. 2 hrs north of Barrie.
Ezra, the grounds keeper (her brother) gave us a tour and they eventually want to create an off-road buggy track and motor cross track on the property too
