Just finished painting my sun visor red with a vintage Ford logo.  I never know if the stuff I do is acceptable or another stupid idea un til AFTER I complete it so here's hoping I got this one right.  I changed the visor from cream colour to red and added a little pin striping too.  So much to do and learn.

Now that is cool . The lettering and scrolls give it that vintage hand made look . If it was a repro of a chev ford dodge emblem , People might glance at it and walk past . people are actually gonna stop and read that

Should have said Walkerville Ont. would have had people scratching their heads. Walkerville was a suburb of Windsor where the Ford plant was before it was amalgamated under Windsor. I think Ford stared there in 1908 with the model t to get around the tariffs for the British Commonwealth

Many years ago I did some elevator work in Hiram Walkers mansion in Walkerville.

It had been turned into a city council meeting place. The property was made into a park.

Just notice you are from Cobble Hill. I had a 1912 Ford shipped from Cobble Hill I bought sight unseen from the original family that lived there.

Cobble Hill is a very small dot on some maps.

North of Victoria. South of Duncan. Nice and quiet here.

I'm originally from Hamilton. I came out here in 1981 to install two escalators in an Eatons store.

The Island is the best place in BC. Especially in the winter. Not much snow.

And not as much rain as Vancouver.
