Hey everyone, just went to the barrie flea market yesterday. Had a great time, cool and windy, but for fall Barrie, pretty good anyways. I have been going there since the eighties, and like the rest of the world, it has really changed dramatically. Sadly, not nearly the amount of parts, or vendors like days of yore. The old parts are almost gone, and a lot of the regulars are also gone. Other types of vendors have come in to fill the gaps. Which made me wonder about places like Carlise, etc. My late father and I used to go there as well. Great memories. The car market has definitely  undergone a dramatic  shift in every way. Not sure how much longer we have with it, but I for one am going to enjoy every chance I get to attend as many events as possible. I have been blessed with a really understanding wife, and good health as I am approaching 70. This summer I have attended almost a dozen events with my car. Driven to every one of them in a modified 71 Olds 442. Anyways, just wanted to share my 2 cents, for what it's worth. How about you? Be interested to hear how your summer car events are going for you. And also, what are your thoughts on what is currently  going on with  our beloved car industries. Happy rodding everyone.

Last time I went was a couple of years ago. Was a good trip, found some stuff I was looking for.
I haven't gone recently as there's not much I'm looking for. Can't afford the day away just for fun, to much to do in shop and on my car.
I pulled my car off the road last fall trying desperately to get it painted.
No car meant I didn't hit any events.
I hope to have it back together in the spring, but since I'm not bodyman it takes me 10 - 20 times longer than it should.
