I watched a lot of youtube videos on wiring, many promoting the purchase of a portable printer to make labels BUT if you already have a desktop printer, labels for wiring is still easy. So don't buy a portable if you don't need to.  I wrote up a document listing all the things that demand wires in my ride, set the font to times new roman and the size to 12 (or maybe it was 10 ?) Then printed off the list.  Then just cut each item from the list, roll it over a wire and slide on clear heat shrink. The heat gun sealed it nicely and wire is clear and easy to read. Hope that helps somebody. On my 16 gauge, I think I can make the font a bit smaller and it is still easier to read than what came in the kit wiring.
