Looking for some help

Folks, it doesn't look like I'll be finding any decent used Torque Thrust's so can y'all weight in on where I might go to find some new ones please. I've looked online but frankly, most of the so-called Speed Shop sites suck.

I'll appreciate any help.

Thanks Bob, I got suspended from Facebook for being too......genuine?......regarding the behavior of new Canadians at my son's ice cream trailer,  so perhaps I'll try my wife's account. I looked at Summit, they'd be the obvious choice but as you mentioned, they will not ship to Canada. We do have a U.S. mailbox but I'd like to know all the cost's before going that route.

It's frustrating, all I want is some nice wheels for one of our cars. Any of the shops I've spoken with in Ontario so far have to " make some calls and get back to you"

Thanks Mike. I looked at them too. There are two or three other sites that use the same format with differrentLightspeed Mike wrote:

Thanks Mike. I've looked at them as well. In searching I've discovered this site and one or two others all share the same format - with different title-heads. Also, they want to do a wheel search by car make & model. That isn't of any use when the driveline has been changed/upgraded. Seems like the old " speed shop on the corner" doesn't exist any longer. ****, I used to work for one years ago.

Summit ships to Canada for free when it's over $300 us dollars. I do it regularly. They now have a warehouse in Ontario. Just a warehouse though, can't go there

Thanks Marten, I wasn't aware of that. I'll need to dig a little deeper I guess.

Thank you too Chris, that's a very fair price......the trouble is I also have 2 Superior and while they're close in appearance they're just different enough to drive my OCD right around the bend, lol. I'll keep them in mind though, thanks again guys.

Marten, you're right on the money - my mistake. Summit DOES ship to Canda - it was Speedway Motors I was thinking of that doesn't. Thanks Bud.

Well, it looks like E-Bay is the place to shop. We ordered 4 new 15 X 7 Torque Thrust aluminum's for $150.00 better than any other offering. Might want to keep it in mind fellas.

The only thing that would scare me about EBay buying is the chance that UPS will probably be handling them to come across the border?
Hope this does not become the case ,if so you'll be wishing you'd never done it.

 Okay Chris,

I appreciate your concern. What is the specific reason though, shipping cost, (mis) handling procedure....?

That is a big price difference.  Hoping you are getting what you want and not some off brand crap.

The reason for concern is the fees that UPS charge over and above what is considered reasonable. I bought a novelty blow up flamed lounge

chair from Sacramento Vintage Ford, it was $19.99 , once it was delivered through UPS it was just over $200.00 Canadian.. This was just one

experience I had before I declared I'd never buy anything cross border if UOS was my only shipping option.

From what I can see Chris, it appears they're arriving by FedEx. Thanks for the heads-up though, much appreciated for the next purchase.
