When the time comes to sell

I am curious, when the day comes to sell my collection, do I try to sell as a package or sell each ride individually ?  I guess I should add it would be my wife selling cause I'll be dead.  I ask because I have a guy who keeps asking to buy my bike but I figure I'll keep them all un til I die but I don't want my wife to struggle with my collection.  Any thoughts ?

Selling off hot rods collector cars motorcycles etc is the worst . its the people you have to deal with and answering the same questions over and over again
i have a hot rod chassis I want to sell . I have pics of it from the barn/ shop I bought it out of in 1985 . Theres no body on the chassis . I have pictures from present day , showing just the rolling chassis . I put in the ad , just rolling chassis and possibly an older tandem car trailer to go with it . First thing everybody asks , what body can you put on it ? and does it come with a body ? LOL

Find a good auctioneer. Don't be there when the sale goes down. You'll just cry.

Sell if you do not have a use for it. If you still love it keep it. Do not worry about future sales. Who knows what the future holds. Prices are generally going down and the world situation. Well.

Tell her to give them to somebody she cares about or who really wants them. Do not look at them as a retirement fund.  Her retirement fund may be that you are not spending any more money on cars.  And who says that you will predecease her.

You have a buyer for the bike?
Sell now. It may be the only buyer out there.

I currently have the delivery and a 77 Ventura for sale and find a definite
lack of interest. They rotate out front on a very busy street . It
seems that there is no interest in rolling projects or any projects
at all even running driving licensed insured ones. Zero interest or inquires .Not sure even
what price range vehicles are in these days? I guess I hold em till
I fold up. Ed

Yes, unfortunately the 55 delivery is for sale at this time . It
is the one I have that needs the most help at this
time. Runs drives licensed and insured .
It is rough and running, still
driven to local cruise nights but needs everything
for a cert. Call me at
905 885 7109 around lunchtime any day for any
info .Ed

I retired at 61 ??? aug 23 , Part of retiring was selling off cars . I seen so many guys kick off and all their stuff , tools , cars etc go for twenty cents on the dollar
Sold off 50 chevy 5 window truck , made into hot rod mid 70,s . 72 gremlin drag car made into drag car 77/78 . Her modded 87 trans am . I have one hot rod rolling chassis left , it didnt sell yet .
I would have really rather kept the 50 or the trans am out of the bunch then the chassis . Actually really the trans am cause auto a/c and we could both drive it .
Honestly i,m gonna say there were 6 buyers that literally had to be told to eff off . But it came down to who ever showed up and had decent reasonable amount of cash with them .
my new hobbies
I got a side by side and go to the range once or twice a month until the liberals come get me .
