Attached please find a photo of my fuel line connection - that currently leaks.  I finally got the correct fittings for the thread (back and forth to town a lot) and used the correct adhesive (fuel resistant) by Permatex and gave it the proper time to set.

When purchasing the silver fitting that fits in to the tank, I was told at A & M Hydraulics that it doesn't need adhesive where it fits with the tank but the next fitting needs adhesive on both ends.  The adhesive is still soft like tooth paste 2 days later.  Not sure what I did wrong.  Could be leaking at the first joint but hard to tell upsie down in the dark with gas dripping on me.  Something to look back on and laugh I hope.  But I'm trying.
