Yes, but I don't know if the elderly owner would ever part with them....a familiar story.
isn't it. around your area there would be some stuff around, no doubt. crowders wreckers, cranely weckers, thompson wreckers, etc-etc. not counting the ones behind the hill behind the barn.
I think Im going to build one of these this summer. Would love to get this one.
I still haven't made it back to this place, I will ask about it.
How about a Prevost coach....
That is a really nice looking unit, where do you get a windshield for something like that?
I am pretty sure that is a Flxible bus (no "e"). The vintage is possible late 40's, early 50's. They are very cool. Google Flxible, you will see lots of nicely restored examples
i have seen that prevost before somewhere. old timers settin in.
Flxible was a similar design. This coach is right on 7 hwy between Peterborough and Norwood.
Thanks Shag, that's a sweet looking truck you've got there.
Pretty well all the old time wrecking yards are gone now, most have changed hands and all the old stuff got crushed first. Just scrap metal dealers now.
thanks but im sticking to trailers. More work than I want.
The nice thing about trailer is that you don't have to break up camp to tour around or run for supplies. If we were park model people, I'd restore a Tri axle airstream or other 40's or 50's model trailer. (Way to big to pull around to the places I like to go)
