Any out there?...I know at least a couple you are. If so, I run a little NASCAR pool on my other forum. It is free and since it is, there are no cash prizes. I may scare up a little prize for the winner, even if its just a copied DVD of American Grafitti or something like that. If you are interested, have a look at the rules at.....
Posting the rules here, if anyone is interested....
You must pick 8 drivers spending no more than $10,000
Teams must be received by Sunday Feb 26....before the race starts.
The team you pick will be yours for the whole season, no trades once season starts
We will be scoring by the NASCAR online points. PM me or email your drivers to poncho62@yahoo.com
Any questions...just ask.
Just a pointer....Make sure that the drivers you pick will be running for the Sprint Series points. Some racers run just some of the Sprint races, but dont get points for them.

i m still trying to figure what the teams are suppose to be what we spend 10,000 for once for the completeseason . or those it have to do ? the winner each week ?
You pick 8 drivers for the whole season........I add their points up each week and post a list....whoever has the most points at the end of the season wins.
Tony got luckyyyyyyyy all the way .................this year ..............24 all the wayyyyyyyy.............everything is fine with me as long as the 88 crashes and doesn t win i enjoy the race
One thing that drives me crazy & can't figure out out why NASCAR officals don't put a stop to is the "START & PARK" guys??? They have 4 or 5 teams that get put"on the trailer" when they don't qualify for the race but would be able to run the whole race. The start & park teams do 1 or 2 laps & pull into the pits & take their position $$$ 40th to 43rd etc. due to not enough funds to run the race!!! They should have to "prove' that the car had a "failure" or forfeit the money!!!!! Would make for a full field of 43 cars if they put a stop to this!! IMO

I think they need to limit the Nationwide Series to 2 cars teams with limited associations with Sprint Cup Teams. Keep the big money out so that these start and park teams can run Nationwide. Keep the cup teams in cup making 2 individual series.

Just another bump...2 weeks to go to get your teams in.
BTW...The site I have been hosting this pool on is really slow, so slow, I am considering closing it.......Anyways, I have set up another site just for this pool, you can see the weekly results there, so if you are in the pool already or plan to, bookmark this page....You dont have to join the site unless you want to, you can read the results regardless...
I have 14 teams in so far from my various groups and forums........Hope to see 20+ teams again this year......The Budweiser shoot out is this Sunday and then the 2 qualifying races during the week.......If anyone want to change anything on their teams from what they learn from these races or other sources, you have until Sunday Feb 26 at noon.........
Remember, to keep up on the scores each week this year, bookmark this site......You can talk NASCAR racing too there if you wish....
according to all the practices speed Biffle has the fastest ride but i still go for Gordon and i suspect if they go 2 by 2 Gordon and Kane will be tagging together so see you on the last 2 laps
I hope all the drivers learned that "it's a whole new ball game" now!! They will have to learn how to race these cars all over. New spoiler, changes things, taller rail strips on roof, changes things, new "pop off valve" in cooling system, changes things!!! They can't bump draft, or push like before, can't run in the 2 car train, & cars are "really squirrely" Makes for "GREAT RACIN" & NASCAR has come up with the right stuff,& got just what tha fans wanted, PAK racing. Even when the field was in 2 or three Paks, they couldn't get away from each other & they closed up the gap & joined back into 1 group. Loved it.

All the makings for a very expensive year for the car owners.
