Thought I might as well do the oligatory garage picture thread....Every forum worth their salt has to have one....lol
The shop I have now is not much compared to my old shop that I built at the old house...It was insulated, had heat and was a bit more spacious....but such is life.It wasnt huge, but was very comfortable to work in....My place now is not insulated, no heat....so I dont get out there much in cold weather....I am going to work on that.

Bought mine at Canadian Tire and came in a box. 12x20, Light Grey with paper thin walls, dead grass flooring and a little wind prone. Boat yes Nova NO
Slab nice shop.
Any problems with bylaws in your areas on those "shelters" as they call them. Out my way the Twp. is trying to stop them being used & Canadian Tire even puts a notice on adds to check with local Municpality before purchasing!!!

No. I'm on the edge of a working farm and I only have 1 neighbour so no one really to complain. Keep everything nice yard wise so it dosen't look junky.
Slab: In the spring sounds good...I'll pick up OldGuy with the Harley and we'll swing by...lol
I only have a nice 22'x40' shop. Insulated, with storage. It only has a 10ft ceiling though, and is a rental so I really can't go nuts on it. No heat so I use a salamander in the winter. The shop is currently full, and it took me 5 years to wear through the epoxy painted on the floor. Here is pic when I first moved in.
My little garage has a floor. I know it has, I saw it years ago. Haven’t seen it lately but I know it’s still there because all my stuff hasn’t sunk out of sight yet so it has to be sitting on something solid. I’m so jealous…..
Good looking shops everyone. Having a proper place to work on our stuff makes all the difference.
I am working on a Shed / Shop that I have built mostly my self right from design, permiting and approvals, framing and paying for in more ways than one. lol I hired a crew to do the metal roof and walls (roof sheets are 26'8" long) The shed is 50' x 120' with 16 foot walls with 2 - 24' x 16' doors. The bulk of it is for equipment storage but the one end will a 40' x 50' shop. In floor heating concrete floor. I just picked up 5 used steel benchs, 6 footers with two drawers each. Eight wall cabinets and some "bull$hit area" seating from a local shop that is relocating. No progress on the inside till frost is out of the ground and I can compact and grade the floor area and install insta-panels (foam core slabs) and the PEX pipe for in floor heat and a floor drain. Will post more pics as the shop comes togerther. I smell a shop party in the future!
