I have owned this car for about 4 years now and it has just occured to me that maybe sombody here ,may remember or reconize the car.
I purchased the car from a guy who lives in stirling ont.Not sure where he purchased it.I am asumming it was local to the stirling area.
The car had no motor or transmission. All the door handles and trunk handles were filled, motor cycle style front fenders, shaved firewall. rumble seat car. Heavily bobed rear fenders.
has an olds rear end and what I am guessing a dodge front straight axle
was definetly a cool rod in the sixties. Anyone out there remember this car?
Yep fraid thats the one,Truck in avatar was also there,Took that home, car is coming home soon too.
Man, I remember seeing the truck there a while back, always drive by that place if I take the long way back from the arena. Always ment to stop and ask about it . OH well, now I know. Atleast its in capable hands. When you move if it you need a hand let me know, would be nice to meet you.
I am going over to the shop later this week or maybe the weekend if you have a way to get a hold of you We can meet up and have a coffee and you can check out the inside of the shop email me with a # at floorguy34@gmail.com
Looks like the car a guy in Trenton ran around in in the early 70s. Don't remember his real name but could find out if you want. I know they called him Ditt Dot. He had a 57 Pontiac Coupe at one time too.
Ok heres what I found out: The guy who owned it was named Gary Lowe aka Dit Dot.. After he had it it sat for a long tine at his parents place on Telephone Road just West of Trenton. Gary bought the car from Danny Shick who brought the car into this area. I think I have his Number that I will email you if you Give me you email addy.
