When i painted my 49 Anglia, i had issues with American & Canadian Paint Manufacturers paint codes they are not all alike for example a PPG 57 olds med blue American part number crosses over to a burnt orange colour in PPG Canada same as Dupont

I checked with local paint dealer he tells me the numbers and codes are different and most time you should always start with year and model in there books and search the colour your looking for. Colour charts for older models are getting scarce because of computer technoligy

The best match i got for 57 Olds med blue was 08 PT Cruiser
