Hey all,

Workin Class sent me a message about an Edsel over in the swap area of this fine board. Instead of lurkin' I figured I better join up. I’m a Ford guy for the most part with too many projects (runs in the family) For the last few years I’ve been makin’ my way around in a ’59 Edsel Corsair 4dr HT or a ’64 Falcon Ranchero.

Take’r easy

Hey thanks guys.

At one time I thought I had the only Falcon bodied Ranchero around. Now they seem to be sneakin' out more and more. Definitely a good thing.

Cool Ford     I was brought up in a Ford town on the east coast ..

I moved to Ontario was was held down hmm and brainwashed until I spoke  GM  wink

I have some neat phots of a Drag Falcon called  "Henry the 8"

It was one of 7 Canadian built Falcons with 289-271 4 speed top loader and "Galaxie rear end"

Car was raced for many years and ended up in Cape Breton N.S.

Fellow who raced it, has built a clone, as the original rusty car is sitting in a barn  (gonna fix it someday) no

Not bad, been quiet. My daily drivers needed attention so I had the body done on the 92 F150, picked up a 99F150 and parked the Cougar.  You should come by you'll be able to breathe in the house now that the girlfriend and I quit smoking.

Thanks Carl and thanks for the story

B\FX Falcon's are cool. My dad almost bought one 30 yrs back, I believe it was just a shell.

My Ranchero is running a 289/271hp, 2x4's, 4speed and a 9" posi.

haven't heard of carlsbad springs since my ottawa days before i joined the mob (military). there is a wrecking yard in kendal where the guy that ran it passed away last year. his brother actually owns it but he did have a couple of running edsels and parts car on the property. the yard was called jacksons
