What's it worth?...South Bend Metal Lathe Model A, 9" x 48" bed, with stand, two 3 jaw chucks, one 4 jaw chuck, 30-50 knives. Has forward and reverse, works on 120 volts.

427 CARL, That looks a lot like mine except, I dont have the fancy attachment in front of the chuck or the other attachment after the tail stock. I know very little about these! Any idea what I could get for it would be greatly appreciated.

See a lot of them around priced between $500 and $1000 ,depends on hwo loose they are.Tooling just always seems to be a bonus,everyone seems to have lots with their lathes....What are you wanting for it?

Sorry for the delay in answering... I was away in Mexico, just got back at 4:30 this morning.
I have about $1,000. invested in it but I got some value back out of it by machining a few parts for my 34 Dodge. Make me an offer!
