Spent many Hrs. fabricating rear bumper brkts. for rear bumper on the 52 Poncho. Stock won't fit due to late model chassis. Used a sanding disc to remove rust & chrome as I'm going to paint it. 60 yr. old chrome on the floor & org. copper plate showing through.

Thanks carl, I feel like I could be a Blacksmith now, lots of heating, pounding on the anvil [flat part of large vise]more heat & learning more "dirty words" Trying to get all these 'little" jobs done for when the body work is done I won't lose this time in having to do it then [if that makes sense] Car is completely re-wired,d/train installed & 1 test drive up & down the street, just brought back from USA a complete Interior kit. Have to lenghten the d/shaft 1" as per what Tremec says!!! Yoke is 4" on the spline part & I have 2" in trans & they say I need 3" in there?????

Started on the grille, ground down the pits in centre section, repaired the lt.& tr. uppr. grille bars, shot a coat of primer on it & mocked it back together, so my body guy gets a feel for what he has to do. Starting to look like a car!!! Made up a rear splash sheild pattern for back of inner fender.
