These are not terribly desirable and they are not cheap for parts thus they go cheap. Similar vintage Jags are bit like that too. I worked with a young kid that had red one ( when they were worth about $3500 smile) Everytime he talked to some girl he managed to get " My Porsche" in the conversation. I just rolled my eyes and walked away. It would have been funnier but he was a bit of an A$$ so we shot him down every chance we got! evileye. This one is up the road from me. hmmmmmm maybe I could impress the girls!? wink

I never liked the 924's but I always liked the 928. V8 power I suppose. This one was 32,000 mile automatic North Carolina Car, looks like a ladies colour but I liked it. A contractor in Ajax went down to Mecum and bought 5 cars, shipped them here and never drove them. Lost them when business went bad, some nice race cars and a couple of street muscle cars, no numbers cars but nice enough restos and modified. I haven't really put the 928 out of my mind but there's no hurry. I have a soft spot for the 914's as well.

I also worked with a kid with a red one like that. He got his by trading it for a dirt bike to a rich kid.

This one is in storage in Ajax. It is in the hands of a Bailiff now. It was offered to me for $5,000. I was tempted but didn't pull the trigger.

Guys doing "German Look" (road race inspired) Super Beetles will use 924 and early 944 suspension parts, because a lot of them bolt in without much trouble!

cheers

Funny the back fenders are actual front fenders with BIG A$$ taillights in place of the headlights. I kinda like Volkrods I must admit
