Not sure how I missed Brian pull...I was sitting with him almost all day on the Sunday peddling my wares. I think I left before him so it could have been later in the day....would have been funny to see! I've heard so many stories about the early days of the swap meet that could very well be true...I wasn't even a glimmer in my old mans eye in '64 so I can only go by what I'm told.
Thanks for the kudos, I did not want to see it fail and when I want to see something succeed I am never one to sit back and do nothing but provide comment. My wife and I (more so my wife) have been actively involved with the Orono fair for many years so This event was doubly important to me.
Joe you can't ask Bruce Mountjoy anything, he's been dead for over 15yrs. !!!!!!!!As I said in 'other' Stirling thread, let the 2 sides promote their own Flea Markets & the customers will decide which one they will go too!!! Stop the "pi$$ing contest" of who's right or wrong & get on with it!!!!!!

Half correct Joe, it was at my grandfathers (now my place) and it was my Uncles. I believe I asked him about selling it to you years ago but he wouldn't. I think it's at his farm now continuing to return to the earth. It was a '64 Impala SS.
