Slightly off topic here but ... if your doctor isn't coming up with a diagnosis get a second or third opinion from another or other doctors, do NOT rely on just one doctors opinion if an anwer isn't found soon. A relative of my wifes family fell ill, SEVERAL doctors could not find the cause of her illness ... the ill woman suggested many times that it could be Lyme disease (based on a bug bite she got while at Sandbanks and the fact that the bite looked like a "bullseye", a hallmark of the tick bite that carries Lyme disease). The doctors continued to search for a cause while totally rejecting the possibilty of Lyme disease because "we don't get Lyme diesease up here". As time passed and the womans health got worse, with no answers from the doctors, the womans family (that's right, NOT the doctors, the womans family did this on their own) sent a blood (or something) sample to California to have it checked for Lyme disease ... Bingo, it WAS Lyme disease and she DID get it at Sandbanks regardless of whether or not the doctors had seen it before or not. Unfortunately so much time has now passed that the womans health and eyesight are very poor now. It is your right to get the opinion of another doctor ... it might be wise (based on lack of answers from your present doc) to exercise that right.

Sorry for the rant but this is YOUR health ... your doctor might be overlooking something another doctor might spot instantly. Best of luck and hope you're feeling better soon.

Edit ... after reading through all the babble I just posted, I want to clarify ... do not take a "no" or "I don't know" answer from a doctor.  Another doctor out there somewhere DOES have the answer.
