you make a guy feel pretty welcome here! last year i put her away with solid motor mounts.. a haunting problem with the front bakes... and a few too many rattles.... put in the 'normal' motor mounts and a ground... and busted the idler pully I cobbled up to run the altenator 'low'... so now I have the altenator mounted high off the ram's horn. doesn't look as good - however the belt stays tight and the charging system works reliably -- a pretty good trade off!
I had some help - getting the brakes reverse bled... a little air was trapped in the line-lock... with that gone they work much better now... changed the speedo cable - and the needle 'bounces' pretty good - but it is calming down... still using a GPS to make sure... MAN!!! it good to be driving her again!!!

I have this carb see... and I cannot find anything out about it....I took photos of all the visible info from it... hopefully someone can tell me what it was (originally) from and where I can get parts... I think a rebuild is in order as the last tank i went thru gave me less than 9 mpg!!!
been a while since I posted, (and my wife hasn't made it into work yet to catch me doing this!!!)
so an update is in order... - found out that the prev. owner had a weighted flywheel... and a ballancer... the hard way -- the housing of my tranny plit in half from vibrations! - found another (dirty old) 350 tranny -- works but second gear is terrible... - put an intake and carb on the 305... - started to build a new floor for the box...

Welcome, from SW Dorchester! I've been to your show in Ingersoll a few times before, but missed it this year somehow. I'm also a good buddy of Brent's, who lives just up the road from your store, East of Verschoyle. (used to have an A Sedan hot rod, now driving a '33 Coupe....year 'round! He also has a Funnycar)
