Have you ever run across old cars with animals living in them? There is a yard up the Ottawa Valley that you need to watch for bears around. Every time I go up there its like a nature walk with deer fox raccoon weasel and ground hogs living under the old car carcasses. I have seen more wild life living in and around this old place than at any nature trail I have ever walked on. I don't understand this political correct crap about old junk yards turning the land into a toxic waist land . It does not happen every thing just becomes one with the earth again.

Sure have, got a few wrecks back in the bush that have been home to foxes, groundhogs and now have porcupines under them.  Snakes as well, lifted the hood one time and saw the biggest garter snake I've ever seen.

This thread goes back a few months...thought I'd add a few photos that were sent to me by a friend.

In a way it's kinda sad to think there are many more classics in a similar state of decay.

Hey Gearhead, sorry no idea where or when these were taken. I'm sure these kind of yards are getting few and far in between...

I don't have pic's of the one just outside of Douglas(Renfrew, ON) which is about the same with trees growing all around.

The one below is outside of Balderson, ON.

The second one is Jim's place, I haven't talked to him for about 2 years, we should get back to his place soon.
