I guess you mean a MC that sits on the firewall as opposed to one under the floor?

I did it on my 51 Ford F1....You have to hang a pedal under the dash, reinforce the firewall to support the MC. Mine already had the pedal, so I just had to strengthen the firewall and add the MC......Best bet is to get a complete unit out of a later car and adapt it to fit....There may be kits from the aftermarket to do this too

I've put one in a 62 Chevy C10.

Aftermarket assembly but I still had to modify the push rod and the brake lines as the original master was a single bowl the new one was a dual.

Check you bleeder screws first and ensure you can open them freely or you could be in for more then you bargained for.

All in all a pretty straight forward conversion even if you use a bone yard set up.

The truck has a amc pacer frt end an a chevelle rear in it . I was mostly hoping some one mighta found / did a change over that fit pretty easily . I really wanna do a complete change to under hood booster / master , and also change out the super t 10 4 spd an go with a 700r4 , to make it easier for towing my drag car ..77.

Yea I tried some searches an couldnt come up with a specific donor . The power brakes are mounted under the floor now . But the cap on the master is right under the frt crosser of the orig style bench seat . checking the fluid is a pain in the butt . I just picked up a later model bench from a chebby truck that has the frt of seat support is open . If i can access master easier with the new seat I,ll leave it down there . If not , its off to Traceys with a measurin tape in hand ha ha ..77.
