forgot the s because of fat fingers and i lean to one side as i type with one finger. and further i like super chargers and carburetors but not turbos. never liked the look of the extra plumbing. i know it works just doesn't do it for me.

There are 106 miles to Chicago. We have a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
That is a stock '88 Monte rad hose that goes up and over the AC compressor. The thermostat housing on the Stealth ram is farther forward than the stock intake. The rad is leaning back a bit in that pic as the upper support is not on, so the hose looks goofy. This was the initial intall of this motor and it was not like that for long.

There is a very fine line between “hobby” and “mental illness.”
I paid next to nothing for the kit which includes (turbos, headers, intercooler, blow off valves, aluminum piping, oil feed and return lines, fittings, lines, fans, catch cans, turbo timer, remote lines, boost controller etc)
If the thing blows up I paid very little for all the piping and stuff and just replace the turbos with Turbosmart stuff or Garrett.
No one out there has tested these on SBC. The rice rocket guys all say they work well and work for the money.
Check out this video from a guy on youtube running ebay turbo's on his 67 Nova. Been running them for 3 years drag racing it without problems.
I ran an ebay turbo on the Miata as well as a friend on his Volvo. I know of a few as well with them on sbc cars as well. Its all been done. The turbos quality have gone up from when the housing used to be literally glued together. Only thing to look into it getting oil restrictors for them. The Miata has a single .58/ .63 on it.

Been working on the front end. Hair pins, panhard and air bag arms installed. We are using cross link steering with tradituional linkage from stearing box.

I got ''the so much to do blues" myself. My project is starting to drive me crazy.....
Anyways, even though you've got so much left, the parts that are done are looking great, so keep on fabbing and posting pics. Hopefully it'll help me get back into mine.
Pugsy....maybe we should combine efforts......you come over and help me finish mine.........
and I'll cruise all the car shows while you finish yours.......
Had that happen to me before.......still pzzzzzzzed at that one....
We're about 460 hours into it so far.....I figure about 800-850 hours should have it done.....we were hoping to get it done by Performance World in March.....but that aint happinin...... should be ready for May.......ish

Decided to make an overhead counsel to match the dash. Andrew, a friend of ours ( from the Lead kings ) Helped out by making a steering arm from a connecting rod....Great job, looks and works great.
Mounted the hinges and secured in the door frame the suicide hinge set up....Works really well. If your thinking about doing this modification....I only have three words of advise....measure, measure, measure.
Installed the bear claw door lock and door works well.
Spent some time flowing the dash ito the door panel....bit of a challenge as there were many curves...but with shrinker / stretcher and english wheel...I think its coming out ok.
Hopefully we will be working on the dash and gauges soon

Tremendous amount of thinking, planning and engineering, not to mention the fabricating skills involved to pull it off! We all know what happens when we have to change just one little thing because we forgot to leave room for whatever, fifteen other things get changed also! Keep up the good work!
