Picture 022.jpgNice day but cool [34 F] but the roads have been washed & salts gone SSOOOOO I fired up the 64 Catalina & went for a short ride. "MAN" I forgot how this thing hauls like a freight train, & when both AFB's are wide open, what a RUSH!!!!  Hoping the 52 will perform just as well or better when it hits the road.  Spring has Sprung!!!!

Took my bubbletop for a short spin to put some miles on the new 348. I have maybe 4 hours on motorand less than 20 miles .Didn't get to far ,ran real good for couple miles , limped home ,took valve cover off found a push rod broke in half. Replaced rod, out yesterday ran fine, don't know hope a bad rod. Can't wait to put miles on this summer.

I built a '63 will a 327 four gear, lowered with fender skirts and was a real sleeper. They sure can haul but not the best handling. Would either of you know someone interested in a '62 Parisienne, 2 door hardtop, 283, 2speed, bench seat?

What a great feeling eh? Drove my 58 home from Megaspeed show on the Sunday night. Felt awesome. That Poncho's a gorgeous car. They sold so many of them its a shame there aren't more around.

Don't know if Chris 58 is refering to my 64 Catalina or the Bubble top re "so many were sold back then" in my case, 64 was the 1st yr. production of the 2+2[USA]& just over 9 thousand 2+2's were built out of total production. Not saying it's a "RARE" but low production, & not many left. Think theres only about 6 registered on the Pontiac 2+2 site for the 64 yr. Mine did have the 8 lugs from the factory, but cracked a steel liner, tore up the shoes!! Replaced the drums with 5 stud [normal] drums[easyier to find] & went to the Cragar's!!! Made quite the change in appearance & ride, even my wife noticed the diff. 1st time in car after changing wheels, much smoother!!!
