Hello From Mississauga
Permalink

I want to introduce myself my name is Alex.  I live and work in Misissauga. I would love to start on a late 30's or early 40's pickup truck project.  I am still deciding between a Ford or a Chevy. At this point, the only thing I have is a half empty tool box and a whole lot of enthisiam and motivation!  I understand that this is a long process and I am starting as a first grader.  I hope I will be able to get some good advise from fellow members in the near future.  I hope this experience will help make new friends who have already been through or are taking the same road as I am.

TAKE CARE

ALEX

Welcom from Brant County. Starting, period, is the best place to start. It only gets better.

Welcome to the site Alex, There's a lot of good people on this site.

You are going down the same road my apprentice Kevin has already. He started by hanging around my shop, looking and learning.....and now is on his second car build in 2 years. If you want to talk to him about what you want to do and how to do it.....your welcome to come out to the shop one night ....hang around and see just whats involved and get his perspective on the road he traveled to get to where he is now. We now have another young guy, Phil, who is coming around to learn and hopes to build one in the next few years. (Phil is now, Kevin the apprentice's, apprentice!)
Chevyboy your welcome to come out too........what the hell .......anybody that wants to see or learn about building a car from nuthin but rust...is welcome
Admission is 1 large coffee double milk only....
