Yea I have been there many times. Its a good show and usually draws 1500+ cars. They opened it up to the newer stuff a few years ago and get a nice mix of pre 49 and post 49. It is a typical NSRA show with the nice door prize draws twice a day and I have been lucky winning a door prize one year and a super prize another. It is at the fairgrounds and there are several pavilion buildings with lots of vendors. They get a lot of Canadian Cars from Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes and on Saturday park all the Canadian cars together and award prizes to them.
All in all its a good show and one I can recommend. If I haven't sold my Pontiac by then I plan on attending again this year.
Nats Northeast is a great show-people are very laid back there-no big rush in the morning for parking spots-The chamber of commerce has a spagetti dinner on Thursday night just for the hot-rodders. Fall colours are great and they have the best poker-run I have ever been on-but it will take you most of the day to complete.
Only downer is because of the time of year-rain is almost certain at some point during the weekend.
We usually drive through to Lake Placid, let the women shop, spend the night and then take the ferry accross to Burlington. The drive makes the show worth while. Nice fair grounds , and a laid back pace........go for it!
With a couple days to go before the show, who might still be going, if so were do you stay? We plan to leave Friday morning and will be at the Windjammer.
