Picture 217.jpgPicture 218.jpgPicture 219.jpgOK call me "anal" but I had to "clean up the garage" of the body work "mess"  Anybody know how to get "rubber" off the interlok. I'm in " TROUBLE" over that with the BOSS!!!!  Hope to get it Painted sometime next week

Sorry, that shop is just too clean....you are out of the club......LOL

I had a Summit banner like that, stole it at the Indy Nationals in the mid 90s......

Great job Pete!!!biggrin I too, can only do some much work and then need to do a good clean up or I can't keep going.

 Yeah!!! I knew I wasn't the only one in the world that is like that!!! I'm the same, get to a point where I can't cope with the mess. I 'try" & put the tools back where they go when done using them, that way I can look at the wall rack & know exactly whats missing & hunt for it. Also started "rollin" the tool box over to work area,saves walking back & forth but still have to do that for "BEER" fridge!!![ many trips there]

Just flip the interlocking brick over. I had to do that at my parents when I was a teenager. The only problem is when you get rubber on both sides....

use dawn dish detergent and a stiff bristled pushbroom and elbow grease to get rid of the marks

Just coat all the interlock with driveway sealer!! Voila!! rubber marks are gone !!
Just ask if you need anymore helpfull tips ! :-O

I have two options, I sell 45 gallon drums of Avion 50 to airports for just this purpose but it's 2500 a drum or we can bring our brand new high pressure water (38000 psi )Cyclone truck in and rip it off the brick too.... Aww, for that little bit I guess I'd stick to the lacquer thinner and the scrub brush...

I think if you do a burn-out in reverse, it will take that mess away. Might need to really stand on it!

I found that when you sandblast over interlock, it cleans it up rather well, and the sand fills in cracks :)

That is one nice ass shop.
