1955 Chevy 150 Handyman

I am cleaning out the shop of all the projects I don't have much interest in - so the 55' chevy gets to go!

Its a 55' chevy 150 Handyman.  Its a 2 dr wagon, which is a  low production model - 17,000 total.  It needs most everything.   The roof has been 90% repaired, both sides have had new rockers , and half quarters installed, and the sides of the rear hatch have been all welded up.

Its also sitting on a new frame (caprice) with custom crossmembers to channel the body 1.5" to properly locate the frame., the bench seat mounts welded in, and 90% of the floor framing done.   Still needs the fuel tank mounts welded in, and the cross brace for the end of the wagon floor.  I was going to make it delivery style with no back seat and the deck right to the back of the bench seat, with underfloor storage.   Will need complete floors.

Tons of parts go with it, a lot of them hard to find.  There is doubles of most bolt on body parts.  Comes with a good 2 dr bench seat core.  Setup for a SBC with TH350 length trans.  It also has a good ownership in my name.

I bought this car out of the states, where it was supposed to be a colorado car with minimal rust.  When I got it, it was so badley rusted that it wasn't worth restoring.  I however paid for a rust free car, so I got royally screwed.   That screwing has always left a bad taste in my mouth even though I always wanted a 55' 2 dr wagon.  There is now enough to repair and have a fun 55 chev, cheap.

Anyways, I want $2800 for the car and all the parts because that is what I paid for the shell originally, before shipping.

I'd be all over it but I'm not in that kind of hurry for a divorce. Have to finish my current project first. Price looks right and car looks more than workable. Good luck.

The car is currently in Alliston, just south of Barrie. I don't have anyway to move the car since I don't have a trailer.

Here are more pics of the car currently. I can take more of specific spots if you want it. All the glass is good except the windshield which has a crack.
