I was at Guelph auto the other day and was asking for a coworker about a 350. One of the counter guys has a couple fresh ones for sale. I did,nt get all the details but he wanted $1500 for one and the other was more. Give him a call and check them out. His name is Gar (Garfield) 519-822-9831

2 Bolt is fine at that power level.  I like to throw a set of studs in 2 bolt SBC's as power gets around 400hp and up.  I have never had a failure with the bolts, but I figure the studs are cheap insurance.

Racer Rick is right...400hp on 2 bolt....no problem...and his suggestion of studs is right on.

And buy good quality studs - I like ARP, or Milodon. Some of the cheap chinease ones are not heat treated properly.

And while you are at it, might as well get the studs with the standoffs for the windage tray :)

Thats a 307, not a 302. Good little motors if its been rebuilt properly - original 307s had camshaft issues.

307 - 3.875" bore, 3.25" stroke (283 bore, 327 stroke)
302 - 4" bore, 3" stroke (327 bore, 283 stroke)

Picky Picky Picky.....

Really 40 thou bore 283 +327 crank = 311

Been built right...

Full roller....air gap intake....650 holly mechanical....MSD....forged internals

Should be a screemer.....
