seems there are a lot of us in a very general 50-75k radius

We should consider an afternoon get together for a meet n greet.

We could even make voluntary donations and give the proceeds to a charity of choice

I have an acre, bonfire pit, lots of seating, two barbies etc if you needed a host and i live in the Peterborough area which tends to be central to many

Thoughts?

Hey the good thing about the rain is my ride just gets shiner.I didn't hear about rain but I hope not.As for picking up cars along the way we can probably find a route that would get close enough to everybody,as long as Fatstax doesn't lead.Last time he lead a caravan we were going to the armdrop in Picton. As soon as he said those memorable words"don't worry about it"I know the way,I knew we were in trouble. We should have turned south before Trenton and after he lead us all the way thru Bellville we stopped and asked what was up turns out he thought we were racing at Shannonville,so I wouldn't recomend him for road captain. I went the last 2 years and it was huge. About 1000 cars and the paper said there were up to 18,000 people in attendance last year.
Make sure to bring a chair, a cooler with refreshments and an umbrella! Spots on the street have no shade, as I learned the first year.
Don't forget the dark glasses, lots to look at.....

The prizes are great, I won a gallon of Kawartha Ice Cream the first year!

The main street is closed off from the East all the way West (up the hill) to Angeline St.
Cars line both sides of the road and the British cars are parked on the grass for "Brit's In The Park". There are the usual venders selling beads, T-shirts and socks too but it's still quite a spectical!
Wear comfortable shoes, it's a long walk!

They probably park all the Brit cars on the grass so that it gives all the leaking oil a place to soak into !!

You going up ? If Ed and the boys pass through Newcastle, maybe we can join up with them for the drive up.

I was just south of the fire station on the west side of the street.
Not as many cars as last year but a good turnout considering the weather they were calling for. I arrived at 8:30 and left at 1:00. One of the guys working the even told me the cars started to line up for spots at 4:00am!
My pictures are still in the wifes phone, I'll try and post some up.

Anybody vending at Barrie Automotive Flea Market? Well that's what Hainey calls it. Anybody vending at the Oro Socks, Underwear, and the odd rusty car part event this weekend? What square?
I guess I could use another Velvet Elvis, and a bird cage made out of a 2L Coke bottle.

the Kid
