pulled the top end off of plan b today, found cylinders full crud and two rusty barrels with some very minor pitting.  no point in putting new heads on boat anchor block.  no plan c to speak of, who does anyone here know can do me a short block without taking me to the cleaners?  this is a 71 4 bolt 350 as to thwart the moe pricks.  must get buick back on the road before the snow flies.

Chebby stuff is the cheeeeeeeeepest stuff going , just quit smoking an drinking for a week an build it . If,n you build it then at least you,ll know how good it is and can beat the livin daylights outta it accordingly ..77.

i will have you know mr white the staxs are as fat as ever, i  have found an  engine rebuilder who is highley recommended.  he will re do my 350 for around 800, new pistons and rings, bearings and all the machine work.  i drop my motor off saturday

I don't know man that 50g block sounds like a real bargoon offer him 40g's it says OBO, I bet he'll take it,I know I would, and if he won't take it all you gotta do is work a couple of hours overtime and give him the rest. Ed P.S. Isn't it funny what a difference a decimal placement can make. Ed

There will be no Gen1 smallblocks in any of my future projects. It is just taking up soon to be valuable space.
