Media Blasting - ?

Can anyone recommend a media blasting shop that they know or have had work done by them and were satisfied with the results?  There seems to be so many types of "media material" also.  What is the best?  I am looking to have the complete exterior blasted down to bare metal and then primed for protection as I finish the build.

Thanks

John

Don't have any places to advice going to but I do know you need a good shop. My buddy had is Riv screwed up by a guy who talked the talk but couldn't do the work right. Warped the hood and the media was so course he had to sand most (if not all ) the car with 120 grit to smooth it out and then it wasn't great. Makes ya sick. Then what do ya do?? Damage is done.

Thanks for the reply slab. I have heard the stories and this is why I am asking for recommendations from someone who has actually had work done and was pleased with the finished job.

Have you considered acid dipping?? Depending on the type of vehicle, it may be the way to go.

Here's before and after of my car. I would not hesitate to use this process again. I have heard that soda blasting can cause paint adhesion problems down the road if the metal is not perfectly cleaned and etched afterwards.

My Dad used Winston's Enviroblasting from Kitchener a few years ago
He did an excellent job ( soda blasted )
He came to the the house and did it but we live in the country and don't have issues with neighbors
We had to metal prep and prime it ourselves

I had a mint body to work with !! Even if the car is in rough shape, all the rust must be removed one way or another.

Here's the body with epoxy primer I put on just to protect the shell while I was working on it.

Your car really looks good and I can see they did a great job. I am not planning to strip everything out of my car, so dipping is out for me.
